Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Plant Journal mobile application ("the App") operated by Wet Your Plants ("we," "our," or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. For iOS users, these Terms supplement the Standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). For Android users, these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Wet Your Plants. You can review the EULA here.

2. User Accounts and Subscriptions

Free Version:

• Plant Tracking: Users can track up to 3 plants.
• Features: Includes care reminders, notifications, and local photo storage.

Premium Subscription:

• Unlimited Plant Tracking: No limit on the number of plants you can track.
• AI Usage Limit: Premium users are entitled to 200 AI-powered requests (identification or diagnosis) per billing month. Once this limit is reached, AI features will be suspended until the next billing cycle. Unused requests do not roll over.
• Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a one-time 7-day free trial. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple/Google and is limited to one per user account.

3. Subscription Terms

• Payments are processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off 24 hours before the period ends.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's and Google's refund policies.

4. AI Usage and Abuse

You agree not to attempt to bypass the monthly AI request limit or use the AI features for purposes other than personal plant care. We reserve the right to terminate access for users who attempt to "game" the system.

5. Disclaimer & Liability

AI identifications and care tips are for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for plant misidentification or care outcomes. You acknowledge that Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
